The rivalry of enterprises has four levels: the rivalry of products ,marketing , strategy and culture. Success in products is a short run; Success in marketing is medium run;and success in strategy is a long-term run.However,only the success in organisation culture can ensure a lasting prosperous of an enterprise.

关于第一段,呵呵,一楼的翻译有些地方估计是词典查出来的,不是很贴切。中文和英文的思考方式有所差异的不能一个词一个词翻。competition主要指学习或者体育上的竞赛,用于企业竞争有点差强人意。企业文化我找了一下,外国的论文基本都是用organisation culture。另外,一楼的第一段翻译过于冗长,重复太多。个人觉得翻译嘛,就是要对方母语的人也能轻松看懂,才算合格。呵呵,我也是学生,以上是个人的看法,和大家分享以下。吃过饭回来再继续。

关于第二段。其实第一句话在外国人的逻辑来看,和后面关系不大……= =是典型的中文表达方式,所以就照愿意翻译了……楼上的第二句有点问题哦……而且compare to是比喻的意思,compare with是做比较的时候用的。中文中的“虽然……但是”在英文中不能翻译成"although...but",although 和but 在一句话中只要用一次就好了。后面有些中文词汇翻译的有点晦涩呢,我觉得用简单而达意的词汇就好啦。
