J.K. Rolling
Death is but crossing the world, as friends do the seas; they live in one another still. For they must needs be present, that love and live in that which is omnipresent. In this divine glass they see face to face; and their converse is free, as well as pure. This is the comfort of friends, that though they may be said to die, yet their friendship and society are, in the best sense, ever present, because immortal.
1. Death is but crossing the world, as friends do the seas;
这是在说death is but crossing the world, as friends cross the seas对吗?那么是不是说death is just like friends?
2。they live in one another still中的they是指什么?death live in the world? friends live in the sea? death live in friends?
3。For they must needs be present, that love and live in that which is omnipresent.
4。 In this divine glass 是什么?
5。and their converse is free, as well as pure
6。their friendship and society are 中的society是什么意思?
7。because immortal. 这句为什么不是because of immortal?
