句子在这里:She's just thick-skinned.

She's just thick-skinned

总之 老外说 it's a positive phrase it's a good thing :)

我: She's just thick-skinned. just means?
he: it means that when people say bad things about her she doesn't pay attention
wo: positive or negative
he : positive
means you aren't afraid to walk up and do something like walk up to someone you don't know and start talking to them
In American English Thick skinned means someone that ignores bad comments about them.
It's a positive thing
joe: thick skinned has nothing to do with thinking something through. just means you ignore others bad comments
as far as American English goes. If it's Brittish English then I have no idea
you ignore when people talk badly about you. Not people trying to help, people that call you names or talk about bad things about youit's right to do. If I call you names and you ignore it then you are thick skinned
and that's a good thing

有这样一句话“To be a statesman, you need a thick skin.

其实汉语中“厚脸皮”更多的应该相当于英语中“cheeky”,“impudent”,“brazen”甚至“shameless”;“厚着脸皮说”可以翻译为“have the nerve/cheek to say&rdquo。
下面有这样一句话“As a manager, you have to learn to grow a thick skin and not let people’s insults affect you.”,对于这句话,把其中“grow a thick skin”翻译为“把脸皮放厚一点”还是偏贬。
而“He is as thick-skinned as an elephant.”
而“have a bad skin”则是“生气”的意思,
例如“Don’t disturb him, he is now in a bad skin.”(别去惹他,他正上火呢。)
