在节目里有两个句子的翻译，我觉得翻得不够好，大家帮帮忙吧^^
第一句是The cult (推崇) of lecturing dully, like the cult of writing dully, goes back, of course, some years.
我的翻译是：自然，那种对枯燥教学法的推崇，就像对枯燥文章的推崇，这几年又回来了。
第二句是Some read from old lecture notes and then haltingly explained the thumb-worn last lines.
我的翻译是：一些老师读着旧讲稿，吞吞吐吐地解释着拇指长的句子。
关于thumb-worn，一直找不到相关解释啊~`

有破损的书页 这个意思吧 同义词： dog-eared 卷边的书 Nothing from history speaks to us quite so profoundly as the human voice itself.
