为什么believe用第三人称单数

因为这里的believe主语是Jasper White,说他是one of the***,who **这个who指带Jasper White，所以后边要用第3人称单数啊~
这个句子意思是，Jasper White就是那些少数相信远古神话的人之一。

...is *the one of those rare ppl who *believes in ancient myths.

我认为这里应该用复数形式Jasper White is one of those rare people who believe。。。。但是下面的要用单数形式Jasper White is the only one of those rare people who is，如果有only的话，应该用单数，指的就是Jasper White 一个人。
