个人意见，仅供参考 so指many political and military leaders have been bright的bright overly过度地，极度地 很多政治和军事领导人也不算异常聪明。 Beyond a certain point除此以外，他解释道…… but not overly so就是 并不是特别的聪明so 替代前面的 bright overly过度地，极度地，非常地 Beyond a certain point根据某一方面 so指前面的bright have been bright but not overly so means 那些政治和军事领导者们聪明但是并不是非常聪明。 beyong a certain point 是 除此之外，除了这一点之外，我认为指的是除了前面提到的聪明这一点之外。 在Simonton的发现中有一个让人感到意外的是，很多政治军事领导人是很聪明，但并不仅仅是（不全是）这些（原因）。他解释说，除了这一确定的点之外，其他的因素，比如像有效地沟通交流的能力变得比测试衡量出的人本身的智商值更重要。Beyond a certain point 应该不能理解为in addition or besides吧？注意那个become…（个人意见，欢迎讨论） 最后修改于 2007-12-12 17:08:55
