I think most the foreign festivals are accepted by us too . Such as the Valentine's day, the new year's day, the all saints' day. They are popular all over the world.

My altitude to the foreign/west festivals
In Hong-Kong, there are both Chinese traditional festivals and western festivals, people will celebrate each of them. I can feel the impact from the western festivals to the Chinese traditional festivals too here in Shanghai.
The middle autumn day is our long history festival , but the government give no holiday, while the new year's day , we can have a day off duty. I am welcome the western festival , but at the same time , i would like to see our Chinese festival get correspond respect.
I would like to give a example festival , the valentine's day, the western valentine's day is on 2/14, while Chinese valentine's day is 7/7( Chinese lunar calendar). When the day 2/14 is coming , the roses flying all over the city, while the 7/7 is coming , we mostly receive several messages , it's not very popular to send flowers or chocolate that day. But what's the difference altitude to this two? I think one is the propagandism, we Chinese are not good at propagandism , we transform our tradition by oral or mother to son relationship. Another is commercial drive, western develops huge series products to each festival , they can earn enough money, and enjoy the festivals at the same time.
We can , and we are acting the same way as the westerners to our traditional festivals, such as the spring day.
