我觉得应该是这样的 A 是正确的。
首先，这个肯定是一个现在进行时，表将来。如果用过去进行时的话，感觉有点不通。 而 主语的单复数选择，造成了 be动词的省略，所以选择A. 要是我,我也选D了.真的好奇怪. 不过感觉冬雪的讲解还不够透彻,总之还是没明白所以然,可以再讲详细些吗. d跟it is 有冲突

I think D is correct, because "was going" should follow "his wife".
It is said that [John's two daughters or his wife was going to the city][where he had an accident]. Without "was", the sentence after "it is said that" is not complete. 我觉得是Ｄ对，It is said It 是形式主语，真正的是后面这句话，如果选ＧＯＩＮＧ的话，没有谓语了

选D.任何英语的句子有个特点,就是句子谓动词只能有一个,但是如果句子当中出现了连词(包括连接分句的连词和从句的引导词),那么动词数量肯定比连词数量多一个.
用这个办法去检查这个句子,首先排除的就是A,因为它是一个非谓语,再用主谓一致来排除,选D...
