我在新概念3上看到这样一句话：

bus应该是可数的吧，但就是不明白这里为什么不加es

在这个句子中，bus 是作为形容词（名词被借代作形容词用）来形容 loads。当名词被借代作形容词用时，名词只能为单数形式，所以 bus 在此不可加 es.
