同意上楼的说法,
我补充一点,with /in surprise 一般用来做状语.如Rose looked at her mother in (或with) surprise.而这里的把with surprise 插入做状语不合适,to one 's surprise是使人吃惊的意思.即他们发现使他们吃惊的是....
