2周前   lx171262235: Personally, i haven't watched this movie, but i do watch its prevue. I must confess that the movie is not so anticipated one, i don't like Chinese culture like kongfu is regarded as commercial. 1楼

Just feel tired of the type of kungfu movies...and wanna to watch more TV series...of course TV series from Japan. The culture from western countries are not to my taste, so I do not like to watch any movies & TV shows from western countries... 2楼

1周前   carpedin: I've watched it in cinema. It made me yawn just at the beginning when telling the story of Monkey King, even though it is a new version. Then I start to regard it as another story about "Finding it's real master". Since most of the time is the fancy fighting and Kongfu, the movie fail to mould the character well especially Yifei Liu, I think. Yet, some scences are hilarious, such as the four people walking through the desert and asking for rainfall. And somehow I just tend to think it resembles the Lord of Rings to some extent, Jason, the boy, as Frodo, Jet Li, the silent monk, as Gandalf, especially the way he show up in the movie. Yifei Liu as Arwen, And the Jade Empire is like Mordor, and the way Jade Emperor tends to destroy the Stick, tossing it into heating lava, all this seen in the Rings. To sum up, although it enjoys a luxurious cast, and the two "J"s are professional, the Kongfu is fancy, it won't change the fact that it's an average, so so, corny Kongfu movie... Just my personal views..... 8楼
