2.六、七月份：初中级听力——柯南，小丸子听力练习。
3.八、九、十、十一月份：（１）ＴＢＳ新闻听力精练
（２）历年听力事题练习。熟练考试 情景

You would never know it, but this 150-year-old torah has been through the unthinkable. It’s survived the Holocaust in Hungary but that’s not all. After World War II, it was brought to Honduras by European Jews seeking a new life in the new world. When hurricane Mitch devastated Honduras and the small synagogue in Terdosigalpa that it comes to cherish the torah -- it was buried in 3 feet of mud. A series of emails and telephone calls brought the parcel, a damaged torah to the attention of this man rabbi Manny Venus of New York.
The torah is our symbol of something that lives on and on and on. When I first saw it, I, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s obviously, obviously been in really dirty water. I opened that up and I saw something I’ve never seen before. It was a horror, a horror.
Venus, a sofer or ordained scribe and more than 40 other volunteers painstakingly cleaned the torah with / scalpels which scraped the mud off, but would not damage the fragile letters.
My first impression was that this torah really was not repairable, and then I said to myself: wait a second, you have to repair it and, and I am gonna repair.
The torah is more than simply the first five books of the Old Testament written on parchment scrolls. In it are the stories, laws and collected wisdom of Jewish people going back more than 3000 years to the time of Moses. And only a sofer or ordained scribe could do the repairs to the more than 300,000 letters that make up the torah. If one letter is broken then the entire torah is considered unusable. Mistakes were not an option. Venus used quills from kosher birds, ink and occasionally reeds to restore the Torah's text. The restoration took more than 2 years and thousands of hours of precise, careful attention. When it came time to return the torah to Honduras, Venus carefully packed it for its journey.
I've had two years of visitors here in the house when you have a torah in the house you can’t walk around in your underwear.
Venus and some of the volunteers who helped in torah’s restoration decided that it only proper to return the torah to the Honduras synagogue in person.
