By watching them not only can we get relaxed and entertained ,but we can get educated. Therefore ,our lives will be made more colorful ,convenient and comfortable. What is more, advertisements cntribute to the economic development. To be sure, advertisements can create a fairer environment for commercial communciation and help the producers to grasp the opportunity to compete for the lion's share of the market. Also, advertisemens are a vital source of governemental revenue .It is due to various kinds of advertisements that the government can lay a solid foundation for its economic development. Finally, advertisements are positive to the cultural diversity.As we all know ,advertisements can mirror cultures.By watching various colorful advertisements, Chinese people have got a golden opportunity to have a deeper understanding of western cultures. Some breath-taking advertising slogans such as "ask more; good to the last drop; intelligence everywhere ;no business too small ,no problem too big and the taste is great' are all familiar to Chinese people .Also, the cultural values presented in these advertisements are shared,praised and appreciated by an increasing number of people in China.Thus, misunderstanding and prejudice can be removed and the cultural diversity can be realized. Given that some of them are completely worthless or even misleading, people suggest it is better prohibit every kind of advertising to promote the social well-beings. Speaking for myself, without any doubt, the benefits brought by advertisement outweigh its side effects. Advertising exerts beneficial impacts both individually and socially. To begin with, advertising afford us more detailed and accurate information on commodities, so that we can more efficiently and effectively find out what we need. I would be hard-pressed to imagine how hard it would be to find an item should all advertisements be eliminated. Further, advertising can boost economy of business and create more employment opportunities. Empirical evidence informs us that advertising can immensely increase the sales of products and bring about more chances for job hunters, which can, in turn, generate more tax revenue for provincial and municipal governments. 2个月前   asyen: I do not agree this opinion. It is too arbitrary. To begin with, some advertising, such as public commonweal advertising, are truly meaningful to us. They showed people a lot of things they were unnoticed or ignore to do but mean lot to the society. Secondly, we can release information to public conveniently though advertising. It is less time-cost and efficient. For example, a company can make advertising to exhibit their product to people who interested in it and the customers who want to know more about it. Thirdly, the company or people who make advertising should pay for it which make the publish sections live. And both can run better. Finally, there are lot of bad advertising exist actually. They make bad effect sometimes. This need the related sections take some measurements. Therefore, I maintain that advertising is a good things but we should not abuse it. 30楼
